Kildare Business Summer Expo -Economy on the rise
The Summer Business Expo held on Thursday 14th May saw business from throughout Kildare exhibit in Sheehy Motors and Audi Naas. The annual event was once again an excellent showcase for businesses. Vivian Cummins, the newly elected President of the Chamber said “ Over 100 businesses showcased their products and services at the expo, the energy and positivity in the room was very evident. I was particularly pleased to see so many businesses represented from all towns in Kildare, it’s amazing to see the wide and varied mix of companies that are based in Kildare”.
Companies that exhibited included SAP Landscapes, Jungheinrich, Color Trend, Carton House and K Leisure. Footfall at the expo was excellent. Allan Shine, CEO of the Chamber said “ This event is now a firm fixture in our events calendar. Showcasing Kildare is high on our agenda and several new very interesting businesses were here at the expo for the first time and the feedback received to date is extremely positive. Business sentiment is increasing and we as a Chamber are seeing that on a daily basis. And whilst the economy is definitely on the move, we are seeing an increase in the level of support that businesses require. The Chamber along with LEO Kildare are working very closely with SME’s to make sure that they continue to grow within Kildare” Shine concluded.
