Support for small businesses in Kildare

The Local Enterprise Office Kildare is delighted to be part of a new initiative to support small Irish businesses to enhance their online trading presence.  Vouchers to the value of €2,500 are available for the development or upgrade of an e-commerce website such as implementing online payments or booking systems.  Other uses include purchase of internet related software, online advertising, development of an app, implementation of a digital marketing strategy and more.

The vouchers are targeted at businesses that have a limited online trading presence, less than 10 employees, turnover less than €2million and applicants must be trading for a minimum of 12 months.

“We are organising information briefings to assist people on how to apply”, said Mary Foley of the Kildare Local Enterprise Office.  “Spaces are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.  There is no charge for attending.  The next briefings are on 11th September.  Book on line at localenterprise.ie/kildare or phone 045 980838, said Mary.

“This is a great opportunity to avail of funding and we would love to see as many people as possible benefit from it.”
