Athy First Friday, 7th October
The next Athy Enterprise Network* ‘First Friday’ business networking meeting on 7th October 2016 will be addressed by Conor Simpson, IDA Regional Manager for Mid-East (Kildare, Meath and Wicklow).
Conor has spent a considerable amount of time over the past few months visiting the South Kildare area and meeting with stakeholders.
You may be interested in hearing what he has to report with regard to employment, grant and investment opportunities in the area and you are very welcome to join us at the Clanard Court Hotel.
Sandwiches and refreshments are served from 12.45 pm with a start at 1 pm and finish by 2 pm sharp.

Commerce + Enterprise Sub-committee, Athy Enterprise Network
*One of the main recommendations in the Athy Regeneration Plan commissioned by the Athy Enterprise Network and published late last year was that an ongoing enterprise awareness programme should be organised as a monthly structured event to encourage Local Enterprise and Commerce in the town. The Athy Enterprise Network is made up of representatives of the Athy Lions Club, Athy Enterprise Company, Kildare County Council and Kildare Leader Partnership. The Athy Enterprise Network now hosts the monthly networking meetings in association with North Kildare Chamber who facilitate similar events elsewhere in the county.
