County Kildare Chamber, the largest business organisation in the mid-east region of Ireland welcomed the latest results published today (12th December) `by IDA Ireland. Total employment in IDA client companies in the region now stands at 21,861, a 13.19% increase on 2021. Commenting on the announcement, Allan Shine, Chief Executive of the Chamber said:
“This is very positive news and it demonstrates the growth and resilience of businesses in the region. The mid-east region is fast becoming the location of choice for potential business enterprise and the outlook for 2023 is very positive. This year we welcomed several companies to Kildare including Fanuc, Lufthansa Technik and Nikon and we also welcomed investment and job growth with Intel and MGS Mfg. Challenges remain which include Housing and our energy supply network but we are well positioned to continue with our growth figures into 2023.
