BAILEY’S BISTRO NEW EXTENSION AND NEW KITCHEN NOW OPEN FOR BUSINESS!
Bailey’s Bar & Bistro has now re-opened with an exciting new extension that includes a new State-of-the-Art Kitchen, Private Conservatory Dining, Sun Terrace and an additional 40 seats in a wonderful light-filled and beautifully-stylized newly built space at the front of the Clanard Court Hotel.
The hotel revealed all and opened it’s Bailey’s Bistro doors again last Thursday. The Clanard Court’s owners the Fennin Family including MD Mary Fennin-Byrne & General Manager Liam Corr, celebrated the opening of the new kitchen and bistro with some of the best craftsmen in Athy who made the extension project happen. A huge thanks from the hotel goes to all the local companies involved Caffrey Construction, Aaron Kelly Electrical, Cliff Perse plumbing contractor, Cormac Dooley engineer and Christy Byrne Painting plus Teamwoodcraft from Ballybrittas. A superb job delivered on budget and on time…a real showpiece of local craftsmanship and building talent!
With the new state-of-the-art kitchen facilities, Head Chef Mark Phelan & his Kitchen Team have also been able to create even more sensational dishes and menus for the Bistro and enhance Bailey’s Really Good Food Philosophy all over again… this involves only top quality food suppliers and produce with an emphasis on seasonal, artisan, local and nationally sourced ingredients.
Classic Cocktails are now available too at Bailey’s featuring the likes of Mojitos and French Martinis plus an ‘Athy Spirit’ Old Fashioned whiskey cocktail made from Bailey Fennin’s favourite tipple Jameson’s ‘Crested 10’!

Breakfast from 7.30am – 10am Monday- Friday and 8am-10.30am Saturday & Sunday
Lunch Menu is served from 12noon-3pm (includes Lunch Specials)
BAR FOOD is served from 12noon-9.30pm
Bistro Menu is served from 3pm – 9.30pm
Bistro Table D’Hote Dinner Menu is served from 6pm-9.30pm
Bailey’s is open throughout the day from Breakfast to closing for tea & coffees and drinks service (alcohol is served in accordance with regular bar licence hours)
