Employment Legislation Update – Commencement of Domestic Violence Leave

It was recently announced that Domestic Violence Leave would come into effect and on Monday November 27th, this provision of the Work Life Balance and Miscellaneous Provisions Act 2023 commenced.

Employers must ensure that a policy detailing the provisions of the Act has been communicated and rolled out to all Employees and set out here are some of the key considerations in developing the appropriate policy.
