County Kildare Chamber this evening welcomed the job announcement by Keurig Dr Pepper who are expanding and diversifying their supply chain by opening a manufacturing facility in Newbridge, County Kildare later this year. This facility will serve as the second manufacturing source for the Company’s critical concentrate business in North America.  The hiring of 50 positions for facility operations and research & development are also welcomed by Allan Shine, CEO of the Chamber in Kildare.

 

Shine said, “ This further demonstrates that Kildare is the leading location of choice for business enterprises setting up in Ireland.  Our strategic location and access to Dublin Airport and Port is extremely attractive for FDI. This along with our highly skilled young workforce ensures that Kildare is a highly attractive proposition for companies expanding.  We are actively promoting Kildare in Boston on a regular basis and this week hosted a business delegation from the city with visits that took place in Kildare County Council, the Kerry Group and Maynooth University .  We expect further job announcements in Kildare over the next 12 months in Kildare as we continue promoting Kildare in the US.
