John Dunne of J.F.Dunne Insurances, one of Irelands leading specialist insurance brokers, is Managing Director of the J.F.Dunne Group, a holding company for J.F.Dunne Insurances and Dunne-Igoe Investments and Pensions and a number of businesses including a FETAC approved training centre, property, transport and forestry interests.
The insurance brokerage was founded by John in 1977 when it launched Irelands first motor insurance programmes based on occupation. The first was for Bus and Coach Operators, the second for Garda Sergeants and Inspectors through the AGSI national body. The brokerage now also manages Caoga, a web based insurance programme for home and motor insurance for the over 50s age group.
