According to the latest Joint National Listenership Survey, released Weds, October 26th, 2017 (Ipsos MRBI JNLR: 12 months to September 30th, 2017)
- For the second consecutive quarterly survey, Kfm has added thousands more listeners, who are listening longer across every day, thus extending their lead even further over all national and regional radio competitors broadcasting into county Kildare – daily and across the week.
- Kfm added 5,000 more listeners per day (*daily reach) – the largest increase of any local or regional radio station in the country, making Kfm the leading station on a daily basis- comfortably ahead of all national, regional and local stations, including RTE Radio 1, 2FM, Today FM, Newstalk and all others broadcasting into county Kildare.
- Kfm increased Market Share i.e. the length of time listeners spend listening every day – the key factor for advertisers – by 6.28%: again the biggest increase of any radio station nationally – making Kfm the most listened-to radio station across the whole day, every day, in county Kildare .
- Kfm, has 81,000 listeners per week (over the age of 15) within county Kildare (*weekly reach): comfortably ahead of all other radio stations – national and regional – broadcasting into the county.
That’s official, and massive, assurance for Kfm advertisers, that their marketing message on Kfm reaches more people in county Kildare, and, in addition, thousands more in surrounding counties (not included in the figures above), than through any other radio station.
