Kildare County Council are organising a presentation to Newbridge & Kildare Tidy Towns groups (and others) which will be made by Mr. James Hennessy of The Paul Hogarth Company (Landscape Architects) on the subject of “Urban Design Concepts”. The presentation will be made in Solas Bhríde, Tully Road, Kildare Town on Monday 10th April at 6pm.
James Hennessy made a similar presentation some time back, however that presentation was very specifically designed to address issues regarding Emily Square in Athy. Several Chamber personnel from South Kildare attended including Mr. Vivian Cummins, who would I’m sure, concur that the presentation was a useful and informative exercise.
The presentation in this instance will concentrate on Newbridge Town and Kildare Town, and while it will not be concentrating on any specific aspect of design in either town, it will we understand, be covering general concepts relating to Urban Design in the two towns.
