GIN-TASTIC LINE UP FOR MAYNOOTH G&T FEST – BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND 28-30TH JUNE!

 

Following the tremendous response to the inaugural Maynooth G&T Fest last summer – the town’s top cocktail bars, restaurants & venues are gearing up an even more GINcredible festival this year.

 

From June 28TH-30TH all roads lead to the historic popular Kildare town for Maynooth G&T Fest 2018, which is already already firmly established as a main summer highlights for GINthusiasts & festival-goers from across Ireland.

 

Special promotions & offers on all things gin & tonic, an intriguing programme of GIN-spired events, not to mention a Curious Gin Trail will be in full swing across a host of leading venues including: Oak Alley Cocktail Bar, Avenue Café and Wine Bar, Donatellos Ristorante, O’Neills Bar, Picaderos Latin & Spanish Restaurant, the Glenroyal Hotel, Bradys Clockhouse, McMahons Bar, The Duke & Coachman, Stone Haven Restaurant, Fitzgerald’s Roost, L’Art du Chocolate with yet more participating venues still to be announced. 

A spectacular selection of exclusive serves, featuring an impressive array of premium Irish & International gins will ensure something to suit all tastes over the weekend.

 

Brands including Drumshanbo Gunpowder Irish Gin, Bombay Sapphire, Schweppes 1783, Hendricks, Fever-Tree, Glendalough, Tanqueray, Brockmans, Gordon’s Pink Gin, Seedlip, Pearce Lyons Distillery, Hi-Spirits International gins, Thomas Henry Tonic and many more will be hosting special festival events, promotions and masterclasses over the 3 day period. 

 

THE NATIONS’ FAVOURITE GIN (VOTED BY THE PUBLIC 2016 & 1017) – DRUMSHANBO GUNPOWDER IRISH GIN – WILL TAKE CENTRE STAGE AS THE FESTIVAL’S LEAD IRISH HAND-DISTILLED POUR.

From the Curious Mind of PJ Rigney, Drumshanbo Gunpowder Irish Gin will invite Ginthusiasts to embark on the ‘Curious Journey’ Gin Trail from venue to venue to sample the brand’s unique perfect serves.  Drumshanbo Gunpowder Irish Gin is slow-distilled by hand with oriental botanicals & gunpowder tea.

  

Bombay Sapphire will again take the reins as the festival’s lead international pouring gin along with their trade partners, Schweppes, who are showcasing their new premium 1783 tonic range.  

 

Fever-tree premium flavoured tonics will also feature across all bars & venues teaming up with a variety of gins.  The festival will also see the launch of some new flavoured gins that recently hit the market such as Glendalough’s Wild Blackberry & Mountain Heather Gin, Gordon’s Premium Pink Gin and Ha’penny Rhubarb Gin.

 

The festival is also shining a keen focus on a drinkaware designated driver campaign which coincides with the launch of the world’s first distilled non-alcoholic London based Gin called Seedlip which will attract large media attention for the festival. 

 

Also being launched during the festival is Nordés Galician Spanish Gin which is uniquely slow distilled using Albarino grapes along with 12 other Galician botanicals. One not to be missed!
