The Maynooth Centre for European and Eurasian Studies will host a panel discussion on:
“Brexit and its implications for Ireland”
next Tuesday April 4th at 3pm in Room CB4, Callan Building, Maynooth University.
This is a particularly important juncture after Theresa May finally triggered Article 50 and notified the EU of Britain’s intention to leave the Union. In this context the panel will consider the impact of Brexit on:
-Northern Ireland and the Good Friday Agreement
-The Irish and Northern Irish economies
-Agrifood and cross-border trade patterns
-Free movement of people and goods
-the future of the Common Travel Area
-UK-Ireland relations after Brexit
The panel will include:
