Newbridge Grassroots Festival Rotary Blacktie Ball

Newbridge Chamber is delighted to once again work with the Rotary Club of Newbridge to run a Blacktie Ball in Newbridge this year as part of the Newbridge Grassroots Festival. It will take place on Saturday 21st September at The Keadeen Hotel.

Tickets are retained at the price of €75 with profits going to local charities. In keeping with the nationwide Gathering theme, we are offering each table of 10 two free tickets to the event if they have people in attendance at the ball who have returned home to visit Ireland! So each group of 8 can bring along two free visitors!

Following on from the success of last year’s Newbridge 200 Ball, we are hoping to repeat the balmy pre-dinner drinks reception on the lawn of the Keadeen Hotel. This time round, nationally acclaimed local all-female quartet ‘Highly Strung’ will be performing, delivering a distinctive sound with their quirky perspective on the classics and a rich repertoire of classical and contemporary music from Caccini to Coldplay.

During the evening we hope to bring people back through the years in Newbridge, with a photo slideshow contributed to by local photographers. There will also be a raffle, with some wonderful prizes donated by local businesses.

After a legendary Keadeen Dinner, dancing will begin to the sound of 6 – piece ‘The Heartbeats’, one of Ireland’s premier party bands, which will bring non-stop live music covering all styles from rock n roll, ABBA to Leona Lewis, The Beatles to Black Eyed Peas! And after that there will be seamless switch to a DJ – just in case patrons have energy left to dance the night away….

All attendees really enjoyed the night last year. The ball is a collaboration of the Rotary Club of Newbridge and Newbridge Grassroots Festival / Newbridge Chamber and we look forward to receiving your support.

To reserve a table or tickets for a group of friends to join up on the night, tickets are on sale from the Festival office on The Avenue, Whitewater Shopping Centre, Newbridge. Simply contact Breda McHale on 045 438296 or via
