North Kildare Chamber on the move

An Taoiseach Enda Kenny TD met a delegation from North Kildare Chamber in Punchestown yesterday ( Thursday 1st May) to discuss the new Innovation Hub for Kildare.  The Innovation Hub is the latest venture of the Chamber, which is the fastest growing Chamber in the country.  The business organisation is moving to new state of the art office facilities in Naas Town Centre next week in a move which will increase its office space threefold.  The innovation hub will have 8 high potential start-up businesses in situ over the forthcoming months.  The new offices will also see the creation of new training rooms and dedicated office facilities for its members.  Speaking at the meeting with Enda Kenny and Anthony Lawlor TD, Allan Shine, Chamber Chief Executive said “   We are now moving to new offices which are fit for purpose and which will further enhance the offering which we already provide for businesses in Kildare.  The new office will see the creation of a  Chamber Innovation Hub which in partnership with the key stakeholders in Kildare will help nurture and assist new developing businesses in the county.  With over 300 businesses now members of the Chamber, this new exciting venture is part of an exciting few months for the organisation.  Shine said “ We are now providing over 150 events per year for businesses in Kildare, the office will now host training courses, workshops, network events and mentoring services for businesses.   I am delighted to be part of this new service and to work alongside a  committee which represents businesses throughout the county.  It was very important to discuss this venture with Enda Kenny and our local representatives in Punchestown Racecourse this week.   The CEO of IDA Ireland Barry O’Leary  will be addressing our members this month and to have our new Innovation Hub launched is crucial to further develop and promote business in the County”.
