Press Release – Chamber win Public Sector Business Organisation of the year 2015

The Chamber, the leading business organisation in the county won the  Public Sector magazine award for Best Business Network in The Westbury Hotel ( Wednesday 13th January).    Allan Shine, CEO of the Chamber said today  “This award is a tribute to my staff, the membership of the Chamber and the executive committee.  We now have in excess of 380 members who in turn employ over 37000 people in the county.  The award is a testament to our  excellent working relationship with all public bodies in Kildare and indeed in the country.  The Chamber is represented on various committees within Kildare County Council.

Shine continued by saying, “A business voice is paramount to the continued success we have in our collaboration with the key stake holders in the county.  In 2015, the Chamber commenced with a series of trade visits which included a trade visit to Guanzhou in China and also to New York.  Promoting the county as a place to do business is very important to the Chamber, Allan Shine explained.  FDI is crucial  for the continued success of the county.  The Chamber continues to ensure that as opportunities arise, we  promote Kildare as THE  place for foreign direct investment.

As an award winning Chamber, Shine is confident that this award will assist the Chamber efforts  in promoting awareness of the Chamber brand and services in public sector organisations which are vital to the continued economic development of the county and the region.
